  1. Looks more like a case of the five finger exploding heart move. It would never show up on the autopsy. I loved Kung Fu and I’m glad a new generation got to see him in Kill Bill.

  2. This is just weird.

“The body of American actor David Carradine, best known for the 1970s TV series “Kung Fu,” was found in a hotel room closet with a rope tied to his neck and genitals, and his death may have been accidental suffocation, Thai police said Friday.

The 72-year-old actor’s body was discovered Thursday in his luxury suite at Bangkok’s Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel. Police initially said they suspected suicide, though Carradine’s associates had questioned that theory.

Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha told reporters that Carradine was found with a rope “tied around his penis and another rope around his neck.”

“The two ropes were tied together,” he said. “It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure due to an orgasm.”

  3. I once saw Reagan perform such a feat in, strangely enough, a Patpong, Bangkok sex club. This must have been fall 1989? He was in the early stages of adult-onset dimentia, so the performance lacked merit or nuance, but the dude was hung like a horse (or maybe I’m thinking of another performance).

  4. the smoking gun website has a copy of a deposition made by his ex-wife making allegations about his sexual appetities, including apparently incest with a close relative.

of course i’m talking about reagan, not david carradine.

  5. I saw Quentin Tarantino, Michael Madsen, Carradine’s agent, and (quel délicieux!) Rob Schneider on Larry King last night. They all insisted it was not suicide, but no one–including Larry King–went into the nasty little detail about how nylon rope had been taken from the curtain and tied around his genitals. Carradine’s agent said that the police had suggested to him evidence of foul play.

    The legend continues.
